Médoc' reminds a person to take their medicines, in the morning and in the evening, and alerts a relative when the person does not answer. The relative sets everything up from their own phone. The person answers with one tap.
To send the reminders and alert the relative, Médoc' keeps on a KEYSTONE server:
There is no account, no email address, no phone number and no location. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Nothing is sold or shared for commercial purposes.
The data of a Médoc' is reached through its links and QR codes, which the relative keeps. Anyone holding one of these links can access it: they should not be shared beyond the relatives concerned.
For support, KEYSTONE sees, without the first names, the linked phones, the reminders sent and the answers.
The server is hosted by Netlify: data is stored in Frankfurt (Germany), the server programs run in the United States. Notifications go through the Apple Push Notification service, which delivers them to the iPhones.
The synthetic voice of the reminder is made on the person's phone and stays there. The camera is used to read the QR code and to take the photo of the box. The microphone is used only when the relative records a message.
The times of reminders and answers are deleted after 35 days. Everything else is kept until the relative taps “Supprimer Médoc'” (Delete Médoc') in the settings: everything is then deleted. A phone's identifier is deleted when Apple reports that the app is no longer installed on it.
